About the Role:
The MODA-EM Implementation Specialist supports customer software deployments in GMP-regulated environments. You will work directly with clients to understand their QC Microbiology processes, configure and deploy MODA, and serve as a technical resource across the full implementation lifecycle. The role combines project coordination, hands-on configuration, training delivery, and customer support.
What You'll Do:
• Lead customer deployments in GMP-regulated environments, including project coordination, installation, documentation, and validation support.
• Deliver core team training, configuration activities, and end-user / administrative training.
• Conduct product demonstrations and on-site or remote technical seminars.
• Resolve software and related hardware issues for current customers via on-site visits, phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Partner with clients to align operational data, configurations, test methods, and reports with their QC Microbiology workflows.
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and project plans.
• Manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, including pre-sales scoping and sales-to-service transitions.
What We're Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Lab Systems, or Pharma IT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client consulting, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple concurrent projects.
You should have a core background in either QC Microbiology or Laboratory IT Systems, with complementary skills in the other:
QC Microbiology track:
• 3+ years in Quality Control microbiology or a related industry.
• BS in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related life-science field.
• Beginner-to-intermediate exposure to SQL Server, Oracle, Windows Server, Crystal Reports, Windows 10/11 administration, networking, software/testing lifecycle, or Azure DevOps.
Laboratory IT Systems track:
• 3+ years implementing software systems in regulated laboratory or pharmaceutical production environments (or software engineering experience).
• BS in Computer Science or related IT field.
• Experience implementing QC systems (environmental monitoring, final release, in-process control).
• Hands-on experience with one or more LIMS / lab software platforms such as LabWare, LabVantage SQL*LIMS or Sapphire, ThermoFisher Sample Manager, Novatek NOVA LIMS, Velquest SmartLab, Waters Empower, Labtronics Nexxis ELN, or LIMSLink.
• Foundational scientific knowledge in biology, microbiology, or chemistry, with willingness to deepen domain expertise.
