Levels: Analyst · Lead Analyst · Senior Analyst
Initio Sphere Private Capital Ecosystemhttps://initiosphere.org

Compensation:
$50–$200/hour (based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope)

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We serve fund managers, institutional and private investors, operators, and finance professionals across private and alternative markets—combining investment research, deal flow, analyst talent, investor relations support, training, and placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to promote opportunity, credibility, and real earning potential for serious investment research professionals. Once verified, analysts can immediately begin earning income by contributing investment-grade research and analysis to live transactions and portfolio decisions across our network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified professionals to join as Certified Investment Research Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Investment Research Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, Investment Research Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to paid investment research and analytical engagements

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators with decision-quality research

  • Build a verified research and transaction track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Investment Research Analyst · Lead Investment Research Analyst · Investment Research Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Investment Research Analyst
  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–200/hour

  • Typical Background:
Former buy-side or sell-side research professionals, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of experience

Lead Investment Research Analyst
  • Rating Score: 80–89

  • Pay: $100–150/hour

  • Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in investment research, financial analysis, or modeling

Investment Research Analyst / Associate
  • Rating Score: 60–79

  • Pay: $50–100/hour

  • Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, research, and financial modeling capabilities

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Investment Research Analysts may be engaged in the following areas:

Investment Research & Market Analysis
  • Industry, sector, and thematic research

  • Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis

  • Company and asset-level research

  • Macro and microeconomic trend analysis

  • Investment thesis development and validation

Financial Modeling & Valuation
  • 3-statement financial models

  • DCF, LBO, and project-level valuation models

  • Sensitivity and scenario analysis

  • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

  • Football field valuation summaries

Due Diligence & Investment Support
  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) review support

  • Commercial and operational diligence research

  • Risk factor identification and downside analysis

  • Investment committee memo, research note, and briefing support

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning
  1. Complete the Investment Research Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Research, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)

  3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly research projects and live deal support

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors across the Initio Sphere ecosystem.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Investment Research Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Visibility to investors and fund managers on the platform

  • Approved research and analysis categories

  • Recommended hourly compensation levels

Compensation & Deal Economics
  • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Investment Research Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity

All work is limited to research, analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

Why Join Initio Sphere
  • Immediate earning potential once verified

  • Real investment research tied to live opportunities—not simulations

  • Platform-driven visibility and credibility

  • Long-term upside through deal exposure and network growth

  • A unified ecosystem for research, capital, and career opportunity
