Job Summary
In order to be a successful driver and junk removal specialist, you will need to be ready to put a smile on our customers' faces by providing exceptional customer service. On any given day, you will be helping people in our community who are downsizing, dealing with loss of a loved one, feeling overwhelmed to part with sentimental items they no longer need, and so much more. You will need to be empathetic to every customer, every time.

What You'll Do
You will learn how to become a true Junklugger and that starts with looking, acting and being friendly - starting with the uniform, and continuing with your attitude. Educate clients about our value prior to giving an estimate, ensuring 100% satisfaction. SAFELY operate the removal of items and truck at all times. Make sure all daily truck inspections are performed (tire pressure, oil, equipment, etc). Make sure truck has enough supplies, safety equipment and marketing material. Help with in-field marketing.
Responsibilities
  • Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing knock-your-socks-off service.
  • Greet and educate customers on our services to demonstrate our value.
  • Operate company vehicle safely (No CDL needed. Training provided.) and follow all traffic laws. Immediately report any incident or accident.
  • Safely sort, load, transport, and unload customer's unwanted items.
  • Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose of items the green way and at the lowest cost.
  • Prepare accurate job estimates, effectively negotiate with customers, and collect payment when required. Ensure data entry to the system job ticket is correct and complete.
  • Become an operational decision maker to run your route efficiently and profitably (what can be donated and recycled and where, how to safely and efficiently and profitably complete a job). Meet the modified gross profit targets.
  • Maintain truck and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues. Fill out truck maintenance, fuel, and supply reports as required.
  • Execute guerilla marketing tactics as directed.
  • Partner with leadership to embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications
