Truck Operator / Driver โ€“ Junk Removal

Junk Runners is a fast-growing junk removal and donation pickup company serving Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. We help homeowners and businesses remove unwanted items while focusing on donation, recycling, and keeping usable items out of the landfill.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking Truck Operators to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, leading a crew, and interacting with customers throughout the day.

This is NOT a sit-at-a-desk job. You will drive, lift, problem solve, and work as part of a team every day.

Pay

$22โ€“$26/hour total compensation potential

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Safely operate company dump trucks and work vehicles
  • Lead a Navigator/helper throughout the workday
  • Communicate professionally with customers onsite
  • Remove furniture, appliances, construction debris, and other unwanted items
  • Load and unload heavy items repeatedly throughout the day
  • Transport items to donation centers, recycling facilities, and disposal sites
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining strong customer service
  • Follow company safety procedures and driving standards
  • Coordinate with dispatch and management throughout the day
  • Keep trucks and equipment clean and organized

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean driving record
  • Minimum 3โ€“5 years driving experience preferred
  • Comfortable driving company truck
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 100+ pounds
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and fast-paced conditions
  • Must own a smartphone
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to pass background check
