Job description

California Mantel & Fireplace Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Masonry Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for masonry projects - stone veneer, brick, exterior precast, including fireplaces, mantels, and other architectural features. You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to develop detailed bids and ensure the feasibility and profitability of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of masonry materials, labor costs, and construction processes, as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills. This role is crucial in helping California Mantel & Fireplace maintain competitive pricing while delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed and accurate masonry cost estimates.
  • Analyze labor, material, and equipment requirements for each project.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals within deadlines.
