Job Summary:

As the Laborer with CDL, you will ultimately be responsible for supporting underground utility construction activities, operating construction tools and equipment, and maintaining safe and efficient jobsite operations. You will assist construction crews with daily field activities and deliver quality workmanship while supporting project completion. As the Laborer with CDL, your customers are project managers, construction crews, and telecommunications clients, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through teamwork, safety, and dependable field support.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Perform physically demanding construction labor in support of underground utility projects
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload construction materials, equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Assist Project Managers and field leadership with daily construction activities
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain clean and safe jobsites
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain company equipment and tools
  • Work collaboratively with construction crews to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently
  • Drive company vehicles and equipment as authorized while maintaining DOT compliance
  • Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • DOT Medical Card required before operating a company vehicle

Experience

  • Previous construction or outdoor labor experience preferred
  • Experience operating hand and power tools preferred
  • Experience supporting underground utility or telecommunications construction is a plus

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
