Carpenter’s Helper – Crafted CT
Danbury / Greater Fairfield County, CT
Crafted CT is a residential remodeling company focused on high-quality bathroom renovations, custom carpentry, insulation, drywall, and whole-home improvements. We’re looking for a reliable Carpenter’s Helper to support our lead carpenters on active job sites.
Position Overview
You’ll work side-by-side with experienced carpenters, learning the trade while helping keep projects moving efficiently and cleanly. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants to build real carpentry skills in a professional residential remodeling environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with measuring, cutting, and installing framing, trim, cabinets, doors, and other finish carpentry
Help with demolition, material staging, and job-site cleanup
Load/unload materials and tools
Support waterproofing, tile prep, and finish work on bathroom remodels
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Follow instructions carefully and communicate clearly with the crew lead

Requirements

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for full days
Basic familiarity with hand and power tools preferred (but not required — we will train the right person)
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude
Willingness to learn proper techniques and take pride in clean, quality work
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
