Position Summary

This role will support the Sr. Director of Operations & Analytics in driving strategic and operational improvements across the organization. The Manager will be responsible for enhancing P&L performance, developing actionable analytics, improving reporting and dashboards, and leading process improvement initiatives across lab and field service operations.

This position combines analytical rigor, operational expertise, and field engagement, requiring both strong technical capabilities and the ability to influence change across multiple locations. The individual will partner closely with operations leadership to assess performance, identify opportunities, and execute initiatives related to capacity planning, productivity improvement, and standardized processes.


  • Provide analytical support to improve P&L performance, including margin analysis, cost drivers, and productivity insights
  • Support enhancement of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Vena, ERP, LIMS systems) to provide actionable insights to operations leadership
  • Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service delivery
  • Travel to operational sites to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation of changes
  • Support capacity and capability planning by analyzing workload, staffing, asset utilization, and demand trends
  • Partner with lab managers and regional leaders to translate data into clear takeaways, action plans, and measurable results
  • Develop business cases for capital investment, process changes, and strategic initiatives
  • Support standardization of processes across locations, including workflows, reporting structures, and performance metrics
  • Lead or support cross-functional strategic projects, including reporting improvement and operational initiatives
  • Drive improvements in core KPI areas such as productivity, turn-time, TMS performance, margins, and standard times
  • Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or similar
  • Experience with ERP/LIMS systems such as APLUS, IndySoft, or Caltrak is preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies
  • Proven project management skills, including defining scope, developing timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability to drive operational and financial outcomes
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with leadership
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites to support assessments and implementation
  • Experience in calibration, laboratory operations, or technical service environments preferred

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, analytics, process improvement, or related field
