NewBasis, LLC. is looking to bring on a General Labor in our Riverside, CA plant!

Salary

$19.10 - $21.00 per hour

We manufacture pads and below ground enclosures for telecommunications, electrical, CATV, water, traffic, lighting, and industrial applications. Over 30 years of industry experience with the most recent advances in materials, engineering, technology, manufacturing and service.

Job Details

General Labor employees play a vital role in contributing to the manufacturing process of fiberglass, polymer, and concrete products from inception to completion. This position is integral to ensuring the timely production and delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our valued customers.

Responsibilities

  • Setting correctly sized mold in proper place to receive polymer concrete material.
  • Adding required quantity of cement resin and catalyst liquids for molding of covers and box products
  • Monitoring curing process of materials to assure quality product is produced.
  • Placing reinforcements in materials as specifications dictate.
  • Inspecting cured product for visible defects and quality
  • Demolding products after curing and hand trimming excess material using common hand tools.
  • Cleaning and preparing molds for next process (waxing, inserts, fiberglass, etc.).
  • Maintaining a clean work area and tools.
  • Wearing all appropriate PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment OR experience working in fast-paced environment where assembly line methods are used if preferred.
  • Exposure to manufacturing practices, shop floor techniques and/or assembly line practices is preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience operating tools and performing functions of similar skills mentioned above is preferred.

  • Ability to operate computers and various types of production equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, required to stand, walk; inspect and select objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 90 pounds with assistance, sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and communicate effectively.
