  • This is CV step down unit.
  • NP does not need experience placing lines or any procedures, its more pre/post op care, removing lines, tubes, etc.
  • This is Inpatient Cardiothoracic position.
  • Each shift there is Cardiac Attending, CV Surgical PA for procedures and Step-down APP for pre/post op care of CV patients.
  • · Patient population/age: Adults · Department description: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery service, CABGS, Transplants, VADS, Thoracic cases.
  • CT removal, PW removal, CXR interpretation, Vein harvesting.
  • This is role is to support cardiac surg step down unit and some CVICU.
