Job description

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking an experienced Laborer as a SawCutter for our concrete projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • At least 1 year of experience in SawCutting experience cutting asphalt, flat concrete, and/or walls.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience cutting control and architectural joints.
  • Willing to sponsor a candidate with non-union experience.

OTHER:
  • Nonunion experience is accepted, and willing to sponsor the right candidate into the union.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas. Construction site work environment - will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
