Job description

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking a 1st Shift General Laborer/Water Spider.
Reports to: General Labor Supervisor
Cooperates with: Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and Quality
Location: Prior Lake, MN
Shift: 1st Shift, Mon - Fri 6AM - 2:30PM
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping
  • Prepping of material for production teams within facility
  • Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages
  • Stage materials according to production schedules
  • Keep aisles organized and free of hazards
  • Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
  • Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
  • Clean and Grind silencers.
  • Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials
  • Cut and Prep insulation and screening for fabrication
  • Assist the welders with installation of welding materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
  • Knowledge of safe workplace practices
