About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) . The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized maternal and newborn care.

  • Monitor labor progress, fetal well-being, and postpartum recovery.

  • Assist with labor, delivery, newborn stabilization, and patient education.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

  • Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Active Washington RN License.

  • Current BLS Certification.

  • NRP certification required.

  • ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required per facility guidelines.

  • Minimum 3+ years of recent Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience.

  • Strong fetal monitoring, critical thinking, and communication skills.
