The Grade Crew Foreman position is critical as we build better communities. Here are some things you will do:
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications in order to build projects correctly.
  • Supervise & teach other team members.
  • Value safety, quality of work, job profitability, and project schedule.
  • Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager and the customer.
  • Organize, plan, and delegate work, labor, and equipment.
  • Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to grader, trackhoe, loader, skid steer, backhoe, haul truck productively, efficiently and in accordance with Sunroc's operational and safety standards.

Additionally, we're looking for:
  • Great communicator.
  • High energy and ability to motivate team members to meet project milestones.
  • Knowledge of all equipment used for job and how to use it.
  • Someone who likes working outdoors.
  • CDL a plus.
  • MSHA training a plus.
  • Crusher experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, how to use Microsoft word, excel, outlook and HCSS.
