General Description

Construction Laborer supports daily jobsite operations by assisting superintendents and crew leads across multiple construction trades. This role involves operating tools, maintaining safe and organized work areas, and performing general labor tasks such as demolition, material handling, drywall support, and site cleanup. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain construction sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to support layout and installation activities.
  • Assist superintendents and crew leads with daily tasks across various trades including drywall, painting, and demolition.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Remove debris and maintain site cleanliness throughout all phases of construction.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations to protect personnel, property, and equipment.


Physical & Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, carrying, climbing, balancing, stooping, and prolonged standing or walking.
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of jobsite safety practices, equipment operation, and workplace procedures.
  • Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a strong work ethic.
