The Deli Associate is a vital member of our organization, playing an essential role in providing a welcoming, positive experience to customers, and ensuring food quality is maintained. The self-motivated, service-orientated individual will be accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service, serving high quality product, and a team orientated mindset.



Requirements:

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain high level of customer service.
  • Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures to ensure deli is clean, stocked, organized, and well kept.
  • Maintain quality brand image standards.
  • Maintain product quality and waste management.
  • Operate all food service processes: stock, label, date, rotate, prepare, and cook.
  • Execute proper food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food.
  • Communicate any merchandising problems, price change requests, and equipment problems.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Follow and ensure all health and food safety regulations are met.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.
  • Understand food quality.
