Job description

Shift Openings – 8-hour shift schedules!

Monday – Friday or Tuesday-Saturday schedules (overtime as needed/required)

Starting range $15.00 - $16.50 per hour, depending on assigned shift.

Our Production Associates are responsible to produce high-quality plastic products from blow mold machinery in accordance with company standards. This role involves performing precise trimming, conducting quality inspections, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Production Associate plays a key role in ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.

Summary of Job Duties

  • Receive and accurately trim molded parts from extractor using hand and/or power tools.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products to supervisor.
  • Complete assigned rework as necessary.
  • Box, package or pallet finished products and label with accurate counts and required information.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Work Environment

This position is performed on the production floor in a manufacturing setting, which may include exposure to:

  • Extreme heat.
  • Moderate to loud noise levels (with proper PPE provided).
  • Industrial equipment such as motors, grinders, compressors, CNC machines, and other production machinery.

Physical Demands

  • Standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, overhead reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, and crouching.
  • Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools
  • Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

  • Ability to lift & carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work in production setting that does experience heat and moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Ability to trim parts/products as directed by work instructions using hand tools and/or power tools.
  • Ability to follow work instructions following quality specifications.
  • Perform quality checks to meet company standards and identify non-conforming parts/products.
  • Six months experience in production/manufacturing, preferred.
  • Experience performing physically demanding work.
