Job Description
What You'll Do
We're looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Design Coordinator to manage project documentation, drawings, and design deliverables across Procore, SharePoint, and Bluebeam. This role supports engineering and project teams by maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating submittals and procurement support, and assisting with electrical/controls design deliverables such as BOMs, conduit schedules, and drawing tagging.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's organized, comfortable in construction/design software, and enjoys keeping projects clean, accurate, and moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
Project Platforms & Document Control
  • Manage Procore for all project documentation, including:
    • Document control and versioning
    • External document imports/exports
    • Monitoring customer documents and drawings
    • Uploading and maintaining drawing sets
    • Managing submittal workflows
  • Manage SharePoint for document organization and structured storage
  • Maintain drawing organization and revisions in Bluebeam

Design & Engineering Support
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), including:
    • Wire
    • Network
    • Conduit
    • Cable tray
    • Grounding
    • Lighting
    • Underground
    • Equipment labels
  • Assist with drawing production and tagging for:
    • Motors
    • Instruments
    • Lighting
    • Power
    • Network
    • Hazardous monitoring (Hazmon)
  • Support submittal preparation by collecting vendor submittals and performing markups

Procurement Support
  • Manage RFQ processes
  • Coordinate and organize vendor quotes
  • Assist with vendor quote reviews and comparisons

Conduit Schedules & Technical Documentation
  • Create conduit schedules based on customer-provided equipment lists
  • Perform conduit fill calculations
  • Perform conduit sizing calculations
  • Support I/O input documentation
  • Create DWG hyperlinks
  • Maintain tagged equipment labels based on design phase (IFC, IFR, Design, etc.)

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • Experience using Procore, SharePoint, and Bluebeam (or similar construction/document control platforms)
  • Strong document control and file organization skills
  • Basic understanding of electrical, network, or controls design concepts
  • Comfortable working with technical drawings and equipment schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and version control
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across projects
  • Clear communication skills for working with engineers, vendors, and project managers

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in electrical, controls, or industrial construction environments
  • Experience creating BOMs and conduit schedules
  • Familiarity with RFQs, vendor quotes, and procurement processes
  • Experience working with IFC/IFR design phases
  • DWG file handling and hyperlinking experience
