JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products.

The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume: Setup power and performance measurement platforms, execute power and performance test plans, support lab debug activities.

  • Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS.
  • Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2โ€“3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, electronics, hardware, or maintenance technician role.
  • Strong experience using multimeters for testing and troubleshooting (required).
  • Hands-on soldering experience.
  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting computer hardware.
  • Experience installing and configuring software and operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Main responsibility is to setup and support test equipment in System Level Test lab for new silicon validation
  • Knowledge on test equipment maintenance and following calibration procedures
  • Doing Software/BIOS update for testers is part of day-to-day activity
  • Debug and troubleshooting of electronics circuit boards is required whenever test failures seen
  • Basic knowledge in Linux OS and commands
  • Experience with lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope)
  • Experience with liquid cooling system knowledge is preferred
  • Need to prioritize the task based on work order request and support the lab operation by working with cross functional teams
  • Preferred to have Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics background with experience in test equipment setup & maintenance
  • Must have hands-on experience with tester installation and preventive maintenance
