We are seeking aย Catheterization Laboratory Supervisor, sometimes referred to as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratoryย Supervisor,ย Supervisorย of Cardiovascular Servicesย orย Cath Labย Supervisor.ย The Cath Lab Supervisorย oversees the daily operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratory to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.ย Cath Labย Supervisor'sย supervise staff, manage workflow, support complex cardiac procedures, andย maintainย strict regulatory and accreditation standards.ย 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):ย 

  • Overseeย day-to-dayย Cath Lab operations including patient flow, room turnover, scheduling, and staffingย 
  • Supervise and mentor RNs, ARRT techs, CV techs, and support staff while ensuring competency and adherence to protocolsย 
  • Coordinate procedures with cardiologists and other departments while preparing rooms, equipment, and supplies for all case typesย 
  • Monitor andย maintainย equipment, inventory, and supplies while partnering with vendors and biomedical engineeringย 
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and AHA/ACC standards along with all hospital policiesย 
  • Track quality metrics, support education and training,ย maintainย documentation and charge capture, and serve as the communication link between leadership and the clinical teamย 
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse and or ARRT-R and licensed as required by state.

2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.

4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

5. Five (5) years of Cardiovascular Lab experience.

6. Basic computer knowledge.

7. Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.

8. Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.
