Job description

ATSNUC, Inc., an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a Lab Technician to join our team at our Manitowoc, WI facility. This is a non-travel, lab-based position focused on the calibration, testing, and maintenance of nuclear measurement instruments, including density gauges and radiation detection equipment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a controlled lab environment and takes pride in precision, quality, and following established standards.
What You'll Do - Laboratory Calibration
  • Perform in-lab calibration of nuclear density gauges and Geiger counters
  • Inspect, test, and verify instrument accuracy in accordance with applicable standards
  • Conduct minor troubleshooting and repairs on calibration equipment
  • Document calibration results clearly and accurately in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace
  • Support incoming and outgoing equipment processing, including intake inspection and shipment preparation
