Ourlocation in Milwaukee, WI currently has an opportunity for aPediatric Sales Specialist.This positionis responsible forthe promotion,managementand growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products inhospital and office settings.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office service area for Similac andPediaSure.

  • Hospital negotiations and contracting.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies,protocolsandguidelinesas well as the ability to deliverthe informationin a selling environment.

  • New product launches.

  • An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies,Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Dietitians,Physiciansand Nurses.

  • Effective administrative skills.

  • Budget management.

  • Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.

  • Desire to be self- motivated,seeking outsuccess at achieving bothshort and long termgoals.

Territory

  • The ideal candidate should reside in Milwaukee, WI

  • This territory covers greater Milwaukee and suburbs up to Green Bay

  • Travel is approximately 50%

  • This position does not offer relocation. Local candidates only, please.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor'sdegreerequired.

  • The ideal candidate will be individuals with 2+ years ofhealthcare sales experiencecombinedwith clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).
