Job description

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Mauston, WI (Mile Bluff Medical Center)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Monday โ€“ Friday (No Weekends)

  • 5:00 AM โ€“ 2:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
    Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
    Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Phlebotomist to join a clinical laboratory team. The role involves collecting blood samples and supporting laboratory operations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accuracy in specimen handling.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection
  • Properly label, handle, and transport specimens
  • Maintain accuracy and quality in sample collection
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Ensure proper documentation of collected samples
  • Support lab operations as needed
