Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves administering and monitoring conscious sedation, assessing and monitoring the clinical status of patients, and managing medications commonly used in the Cath Lab. Familiarity with radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support is required, along with effective communication with the patient care team, patients, and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering and monitoring conscious sedation
  • Assessment and monitoring of clinical status of patients
  • Applying theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab
  • Ensuring radiation safety and infection control
  • Providing hemodynamic support
  • Communicating with the patient care team, patients, and their families

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Required Licensure and Certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Skills in managing cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology
  • Knowledge of EMR systems EPIC and Merge
