American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a Day shift position requiring 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details
  • Work in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, with EP Lab experience considered a plus
  • Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Overnight, weekend, and holiday call required
  • Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief unit orientation provided
  • Epic charting system experience required
Requirements
  • Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Skilled in ACT monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, 12 lead EKG/ECG interpretation, and infection prevention/isolation precautions
  • Experience with procedural sedation monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
  • Familiarity with radiation and laser safety protocols
  • IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining IVs
Additional Information
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, left and right heart catheterization, and cardiac stent placement
  • Assist with pre and post procedure patient care
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
  • Former permanent staff must have separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
