Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
  • Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
  • Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
  • Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations
  • Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.
  • Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable.
  • Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
  • The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required
  • Licensed Sleep Technologist is required
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Scoring experience preferred
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
