Job Summary
Plans and carries out instruction in the Nursing program in the clinical and lab setting under the supervision of the program administrator and course faculty.
Job Duties:
Clinical instruction includes planning engaging clinical experiences commensurate with the assigned student's level in the program. Maintains records and reports on student learning and evaluates lab and clinical performance of assigned students. Responsibilities also include acting as a liaison between the nursing program and the healthcare facility. Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic and have an in-depth understanding of the principles in their discipline or field. May be required to teach evening, weekend, or at other campus locations as the need arises.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid, unencumbered KY (or a compact state with multi-state privileges) registered nursing (RN) license and two years of nursing experience.
