Job Description: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support for our laboratory equipment, ensuring that our scientists can effectively use both hardware and software specific to their research needs. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our lab technology. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide timely and effective IT support for lab equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. User Assistance: Assist scientists with technical issues related to their lab equipment, offering solutions and guidance to ensure minimal disruption to their research activities. Equipment Management: Monitor and maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal performance, including regular updates and preventive maintenance. Training: Conduct training sessions for scientists to help them understand and utilize lab equipment and software effectively. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with scientists and other IT team members to identify and resolve technical challenges, and to implement improvements to lab technology.
