Job description

We are looking to add a Laboratory Technician to a GMP regulated laboratory here in the Columbus area! This role will primarily be assisting the Scientists in the lab with sample prep, documentation, keeping track of inventory for the lab, and other duties as needed.

This lab operates on a 1st shift and is manufacturing biopharmaceutical products that go into clinical trials. An ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Associates Degree in a Scientific field, and experience in a GMP regulated environment or experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

Will be supporting the GMP laboratory/manufacturing environment by ensuring materials are available and/or ordered, properly prepared, and ready with the appropriate documentation.

  • Will essentially be working as the right hand person to the Scientists and helping to support various different tasks in the lab.
  • Will help setup any laboratory manufacturing techniques that need to be run in the lab.
  • Will help setup cell lines in the lab.
  • Will help perform any cleaning duties in the lab as needed.
  • Perform necessary documentation as needed.
  • Will fully gown up when working in the lab.
  • Help keep track of inventory in the lab.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have experience working in a GMP or similarly regulated environment (can be in a laboratory or manufacturing setting)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
