AS A CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease, while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EducationCERTIFICATE PROGRAM GRADUATE OF A CERTICATE OR DEGREE GRANTING PROGRAM OR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN HEALTH SCIENCE (INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY, LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY, PARAMEDIC). REQUIRED ASSOCIATES DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF RADIOLOGY OR CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY. PREFERRED RCIS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 2 YEARS OF HIRE. REQUIRED
Required Experience/SkillsPREVIOUS INTERVENTIONAL AND/OR DIAGNOSTIC CATH LAB EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Preferred Experience/SkillsHEALTHCARE PROVIDER (BLS) CERTIFICATION; PARTICIPATION IN DEPARTMENT ON CALL SCHEDULE; ACLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF START DATE
