Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Honesdale, PA
Facility Type: Small Community Hospital

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist for an exciting opportunity at a busy community hospital in Honesdale, PA. This role is ideal for a skilled technologist who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a close-knit procedural team.

This active department supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and requires a candidate comfortable working in high-acuity situations including STEMI activations and balloon pump procedures. Candidates with Interventional Radiology experience are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights:
  • Small community hospital with a busy procedural unit
  • Current team includes 2 Registered Nurses and 2 Technologists
  • Additional staffing support currently in place with agency personnel
  • On-call requirement: 7–14 call days per month
  • Experience with STEMI and balloon pump cases preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of recent cardiac experience preferred; IR experience accepted
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
  • Scrub in and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Assist with STEMI cases and balloon pump procedures as needed
  • Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and procedural staff to deliver quality patient care
Requirements:
  • ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Active state license or eligibility where applicable
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of recent cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred; Interventional Radiology experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in fluoroscopy, EKG interpretation, and sterile technique
  • Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced procedural environments
