Job description

ChampionX is seeking a Senior Lab Technician located in Sugar Land, TX . The Senior Lab Technician will be responsible for providing direct laboratory support to onsite researchers.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide direct laboratory support to onsite researchers
  • Dispose of laboratory waste streams
  • Stock general laboratory and safety supplies - medical, dental, vision,
  • Stock bulk solvents, gases, and special supplies for specific teams
  • Ensure that lab coats/uniforms are washed and returned
  • Wash laboratory glassware
  • Utilize a forklift with specialized accessories to move drums and palletized materials
  • Wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator
  • Perform routine safety program checks and preventive maintenance of their equipment
  • Maintain standard operating procedures
  • Maintain clean and safe work facility

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED with two years of experience working in a lab environment, OR, an Associate's Degree in a related field of study (e.g. lab technician programs, college coursework in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a warehouse, lab, plant, or similar environment
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
