Job description

We are seeking Lab Associate Immunology to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

Job Summary:
Perform routine immunology laboratory testing procedures to generate accurate data in support of clinical trials research. This role operates on a set shift of Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Perform routine analysis of specimens in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
  • Evaluate the validity of analytical results using laboratory computer system algorithms
  • Identify, document, and escalate unusual results or performance deviations
  • Prepare buffers and solutions required for laboratory analysis
  • Maintain proper storage of samples and reagents post-analysis
  • Support development and documentation of laboratory procedures and techniques
  • Ensure lab organization and cleanliness in alignment with 6S standards
What We Are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology
  • 6 months relevant lab experience equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and analytical techniques
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous material handling
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentation
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $35,900.00 - $74,800.00. Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
