A Taste of What You'll Do

As a Lab Tech Associate at Turner Road Vintners, you will help uphold product quality and consistency by conducting physical, analytical chemistry, and microbiological testing on grapes, grape products, alcoholic beverages, water, and related materials. Your work will directly support production operations and help maintain high standards throughout the winemaking process.

In this hands-on laboratory role, you will collect and prepare samples, conduct testing, monitor sanitation effectiveness, prepare laboratory chemical solutions, and accurately document results in laboratory information management systems. You will collaborate with operations and quality teams to deliver timely, reliable data that supports informed decision-making.

Success in this role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will have opportunities to contribute ideas, support special projects, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and work areas, and help ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety requirements. What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years GALLO experience OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years winery or vineyard experience.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to maintain 3 shift availability (day, swing, and graveyard); required to work overtime when necessary; required to work weekends when necessary.
  • Required to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Required to be at least 21 years of age.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or Biochemistry plus lab support or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment.

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
