We're partnering with a leading cannabis manufacturing facility to find a dependable Laundry & Facility Hygiene Technician to support their compliance-driven operations. In a regulated cannabis environment, clean scrubs, PPE, and linens aren't just a preference — they're a requirement. This role sits at the heart of keeping the facility running safely, cleanly, and in full compliance with state standards.

Your Day-to-Day
You'll be responsible for managing the full laundry and textile hygiene cycle for the facility, ensuring all garments, PPE, and linens meet sanitation and compliance standards at all times.
  • Collect, sort, and process all facility laundry including scrubs, uniforms, lab coats, mop heads, towels, and reusable PPE
  • Operate and maintain commercial-grade washing machines, dryers, and laundry equipment to manufacturer specifications
  • Follow facility-specific wash protocols including correct water temperatures, cycle settings, and approved detergents/disinfectants
  • Mix and measure cleaning chemicals and laundry solutions in accordance with GMP and safety requirements
  • Inspect garments and linens post-wash for cleanliness, damage, or contamination — flag and quarantine anything that doesn't meet standards
  • Fold, organize, and redistribute clean laundry to designated department stations and storage areas
  • Track inventory of scrubs, uniforms, and linens by size and department; communicate restocking needs proactively
  • Maintain accurate laundry logs including wash cycles, quantities, and chemical usage as required by compliance standards
  • Support light facility cleaning duties as needed including breakroom, restrooms, and production floor surfaces
  • Replace paper products and empty waste receptacles throughout the facility
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and report any machine issues promptly
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all GMP, biosecurity, and sanitation protocols specific to cannabis manufacturing
  • Handle and store chemical cleaning agents safely and in compliance with facility SDS requirements
  • Wear required PPE at all times in designated areas
  • Report safety incidents, concerns, or compliance issues to a lead or supervisor immediately
  • Maintain and calibrate laundry equipment as directed
  • Complete all required record keeping accurately and on time
Working Conditions
  • Work in an environment that may reach 85°F+ with 70%+ humidity for extended periods
  • Regular physical activity including lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Daily exposure to allergens including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil

What You Bring
Must Have:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in an industrial laundry, housekeeping, or facility hygiene role preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment operation and basic maintenance
