Job description

The Lab Aide will be responsible for supporting the lab technicians by performing various tasks under the supervision of the Lab Manager and Pharmacists. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Lab Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, USP guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Restock compounding labs daily and assist lab team when supplies run low throughout the day
  • Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware for depyrogenation
  • Responsible for preparing and organizing sterile batch kits for the sterile lab team and assisting with solution preparation as needed
  • Support lab team with various daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks assigned and documented through the Quality Management System
  • Attend departmental meetings as well as participate in relevant education & training provided by the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of lifting and pulling up to 30lbs
  • Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment
  • Skill/experience in the Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
