Job description

General Neurologist- Androscoggin Valley Hospital 3 days a week & Colebrook Hospital (Upper CT Valley Hospital) 2 days a week - 40 hours a week with set time during the day for charting.

MUST do EEGs, EMGs, and NCS and meet requirements on privilege request form.

Needed to assist with backlog. The assignment may be extended, if the provider is available, in response to patient need.

Board-certified/board eligible Neurologist- comfortable practicing independently.

North Country Healthcare conducts studies for stroke, headache, dementia, and disability. General Neurologist and Fellowship trained accepted.

8 hour shifts- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST (lunch 12-1:00 p.m.) No staff availability for later hours

  • No call or weekends- limited inpatient (if any)
  • 13-15 patients per day avg.
  • Majority of adult patients, with some teenagers
  • Payer mix is Medicare, Medicaid, and Employer-based insurances
  • Phillips Ingenia wide bore 1.5T MRI - 5 days a week at AVH, 1 day a week at Colebrook.
