What is an LPN medical coder?

An LPN Medical Coder is a Licensed Practical Nurse who specializes in reviewing medical records and assigning standardized codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. They use their clinical knowledge to interpret healthcare documentation and ensure accurate coding for billing and insurance purposes.
