Job Summary

The Sr. Manager of Continuous Improvement & Distribution is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing distribution operations for the Home & Personal Care business, including direct leadership of the Redlands, CA distribution center. This role also carries global accountability for advancing AI-driven automation, continuous improvement, and network optimization initiatives across all Spectrum Brands distribution sites worldwide and across all business units.


This leader will drive the global automation and AI roadmap, spearhead Kaizen initiatives across the network, and ensure best-in-class performance in service, cost, quality, and safety. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional leaders and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to deliver
operational excellence and scalable solutions that support long-term growth.
The role requires a visionary leader with strong execution capability, deep distribution expertise, and a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and team development.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end distribution operations for the Redlands, CA facility, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and service delivery.
  • Develop and execute the global automation and AI strategy across Spectrum Brands’ distribution network, driving standardization and scalability across all businesses and geographies.
  • Champion continuous improvement by leading global Kaizen events and embedding a culture of operational excellence across all distribution centers.
  • Design, implement, and optimize global distribution network strategies to support growth, customer requirements, and evolving market needs
  • Implement AI-enabled dashboards, reporting, and data-driven decision-making tools across all
    distribution sites.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and enable a multimodal distribution network that meets customer and consumer
    expectations across domestic and international markets.
  • Own distribution budgeting and financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and
    variance management.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across cost, quality, service, inventory accuracy, and safety; drive accountability across the network.
  • Oversee global returns and refurbishment programs to ensure efficient execution and cost
    optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and all internal/external audit requirements related to distribution
    operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Commercial teams to align
    distribution strategies with enterprise objectives.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing global team, fostering leadership capability and
    organizational effectiveness.
Education and Experience Profile
  • B.S./B.A. Degree; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ of Operations/Finance/Supply Chain/Distribution.
  • Experience utilizing AI to develop Logistics dashboards and reports
  • Industry certification preferred.
  • Some understanding of Network Design is preferred.
  • Experience in DTC & ECommerce parcel fulfillment
