Job description

Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Warehouse Team. The Warehouse Technician works onsite at our Glassport, PA facility and plays a critical role in daily warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and shipping support. This position is responsible for picking, packing, and processing sales and production orders to ensure accurate, timely domestic and international shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Details:
  • Type of Employment: Full-time
  • Location: Glassport, PA
  • Division/Department: Corporate/Warehouse
  • Reports to: Receiving Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pull, and stage sales and production orders using pick lists and work instructions
  • Accurately pack and prepare domestic and international shipments to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery
  • Process outbound shipments using common carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, and related shipping software
  • Post packing slips, shipment details, and inventory transactions in the ERP system
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including inventory organization, product rotation, cycle counts, and material handling
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and departmental work instructions
  • Support continuous warehouse operations and assist with other duties as assigned
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with shipping and inventory systems
  • Ability to perform physical job requirements, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted; assistance required for heavier items (over 60 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Preferred
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving experience
  • Advanced computer or ERP system experience
