Job description

JOB SUMMARY

This position serves as the delivery enabler for Patient Access and HIM applications and support. It acts as the primary liaison between external delivery partners and BSWH teams to ensure high quality outcomes and alignment with organizational priorities. The role also contributes to scoping, planning, and delivering internal agile and hybrid projects.

Hybrid role - if local to DFW area- on-site 1x a week; in state of TX, on-site once a month; out of state candidate would need to come on-site 2x a year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Ensure external partners deliver high quality work that meets contractual obligations, SLAs, and internal expectations.
     
  • Serve as the connection point between internal product teams, business stakeholders, and external delivery partners.
     
  • Coordinate vendor activities to support enterprise portfolio priorities, Agile ceremonies, and sprint commitments.
     
  • Identify opportunities to enhance vendor engagement, improve efficiency, and innovate within KTLO and enhancement delivery.
     
  • Maintain awareness of contract commitments, performance obligations, change controls, and risk mitigation activities.
     
  • Maintain process documentation.
     
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to understand level of effort, risks, and resource needs.
     
  • Identify when additional governance forums, committees, or approval bodies are required and ensure appropriate engagement.
     
  • Perform other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Bachelors Degree required.

  • Epic Certification in Patient Access or HIM preferred 
     
  • Healthcare experience and/or Revenue Cycle experience preferred 
     
  • Project management experience - ideal, not required
     
  • Agile methodology - ideal, not required
     
  • Prior experience in Service Management, ITIL or Service Now ideal.
     
  • Prior experience in Vendor and Escalation Management
     
  • Demonstrated service approach to IT.
     
  • Excellent organizational change management skills.
     
  • Excellent partnership and team building skills.
     
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
     
  • Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Agile)
