Job description

Job Title: Prevailing Wage Payroll Specialist 

Location:   Orange, CA 92865 United States

Duration: 3 months

Shift: M-F 7:00am – 4:00pm. 

 

Qualifications:

Prevailing Wage (CA) Experience – 2+ years

Experience with Certified Payroll Reporting entries on the DIR,

Preferred Experience with these reporting software - LCP Tracker, Elation, and EMARS

Contribution Training Funds submittals

Compliance Reporting

Some administrative experience preferred.

Construction industry would be a plus.

Midsize – large company.

Skills:

Ability to handle confidential information

Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Experience with UKG and Kronos preferred.

Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Attention to detail, and ability to prioritize responsibilities

Able to be flexible with changes in system, process, and policy

Ability to work a full-time schedule and overtime as needed

The pace is fast and structured, meeting deadlines and accountability if key.

Candidates must be able to work independently and make sound decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

Kronos and Payroll Analyst will be a member of the payroll operations team working with the vendor to ensure that all Kronos payrolls are processed, filed, audited and correctly paid to each employee’s record. This role will be the primary point for the areas related to Kronos payroll processes. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payrolls related processes in accordance with Federal and State and Local laws. Prepare documentation on all processes involving the Kronos system and other payroll related processes as needed. Manage special projects/tasks and provide support to Payroll Team as a Kronos expert. Collaborate and communicate with business partners, peers and other departments to ensure organizational and vendor expectations are met. Serve as a subject matter expert on all projects that require Kronos expertise.
