Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Dayforce Architect to help lead a global payroll migration and strengthen the long-term stability of a major enterprise HR technology environment. This remote opportunity offers the chance to own end-to-end Dayforce architecture, integrations, and configuration while partnering closely with payroll, benefits, and people technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical design, configuration, and rollout of Dayforce across payroll, time and attendance, and related HR workflows
  • Own end-to-end Dayforce data flows, including inbound and outbound integrations with connected enterprise systems
  • Document integration dependencies, payloads, schedules, transformations, and error handling processes
  • Design secure, scalable system architecture across legal entities, pay groups, locations, and access controls
  • Build and maintain workflows, approvals, and business process configurations aligned to payroll and workforce needs
  • Configure payroll elements such as earnings, deductions, tax settings, and off-cycle processing rules
  • Support timekeeping setup including schedules, leave policies, accruals, and entitlement rules
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and compliance outputs to support operational and regulatory needs
  • Lead testing efforts, parallel payroll validation, user acceptance testing, and data migration activities
  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot system issues, and drive root cause analysis and preventive fixes
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration workbooks, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials
Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and architecting Ceridian Dayforce in enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll processes, with experience supporting EMEA and SEA regions preferred
  • Deep expertise in Dayforce payroll configuration, including tax setups, pay groups, earnings/deductions, and year-end processes
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce Time & Attendance, including scheduling, accruals, leave management, and timekeeping policies
  • Solid understanding of Dayforce system architecture, data models, legal entity setup, and org hierarchy design
  • Experience administering Dayforce security, including role-based access, data access profiles, and feature permissions
  • Working knowledge of Dayforce reporting tools, APIs, and data exchange methods
  • Experience with parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, and data validation practices
  • Strong documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Comfort working in a collaborative environment with payroll, HR, benefits, and technical teams
Preferred Skills
  • Dayforce certification in Payroll, HCM, or a related area
  • Experience with Workday HCM as a system of record, especially in migration settings
  • Familiarity with Dayforce Continuous Payroll and on-demand pay capabilities
  • Exposure to Dayforce Integration Studio and partner ecosystem configurations
  • Knowledge of Dayforce Intelligence features and reporting enhancements
  • Prior experience supporting high-growth technology or platform organizations
  • Familiarity with the Boomi integration platform
  • Understanding of SOX compliance considerations for payroll systems
