Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Weekend Product Demonstrator – Kroger Stores

Earn $18 per hour | Flexible Scheduling | DFW-area locations

Do you enjoy meeting new people, creating a fun customer experience, and introducing shoppers to delicious products? Join our team as a Product Demonstrator representing Rancher’s Premium Smokehouse sausages and burnt ends at Kroger stores throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

You will prepare and offer product samples, engage with customers, highlight key product features, and help drive sales through an inviting and professional in-store demonstration.

Pay and Schedule
  • $18 per hour

  • Biweekly pay through direct deposit

  • Demonstrations are generally six-hour shifts

  • Receive one additional paid hour per shift for setup, breakdown, and drive time

  • Most events are held Friday through Sunday

  • Additional weekday opportunities may be available

  • Flexible scheduling based on event availability

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare, cook, cut, and serve food samples using provided equipment

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting demonstration area

  • Professionally engage customers and explain product features and benefits

  • Follow all food-safety and food-handling requirements

  • Help the team achieve product sales goals

  • Check product availability and ensure shelves remain fully stocked before, during, and after the demonstration

  • Properly set up and break down the demonstration station

  • Represent Rancher’s Premium Smokehouse with enthusiasm and professionalism

What We’re Looking For
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Reliable transportation to assigned Kroger locations

  • Availability to work weekends, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as some major holidays

  • Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on scheduled workdays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift demonstration supplies, and perform regular reaching and movement

  • Friendly, dependable, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with the public

  • Food service, fast-food, food-handling, sales, or retail experience is helpful—but not required
