Description

The Target National Account Manager is responsible for developing strong omni-channel relationships, providing strategic direction, and executing best-in-class practices to drive sales and meet profitability goals for our client partners. This role is also responsible for maintaining close communication with key retailer partners and client contacts to determine their needs while executing company goals and strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Align the client and company strategy with the retail account’s direction and goals
  • Build new relationships and maintain current relationships with all levels of the retail customer
  • Oversee and manage the current product listing, opportunities for new business, and new product launches
  • Develop strategies for profitably growing customers and categories
  • Develop monthly sales and demand forecasts
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization
  • Create sales presentations for Target
  • Maintain an awareness of trends in the industry, competition, and account changes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of current consumer packaged goods account management experience working with Target
  • Experience leveraging data into actionable insights
  • Current experience with item level forecasting
  • Trained in strategic negotiations
  • Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ownership mindset
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

The national hiring starting base salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000/annually. Additionally, this position is eligible to participate in our bonus program.
