This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established anesthesiology group covering two southern TENET hospital campuses and a freestanding outpatient surgery center in Palm Beach County. You'll work in a clinically rich environment spanning Trauma Level I cases, nationally recognized endovascular and structural cardiovascular procedures, robotics, thoracoabdominal surgery, pediatrics, and OB - all at a Level II community hospital with a strong CRNA workforce and academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University, and FAU. With generous time off, a clear multi-year contract, and a team that takes pride in both clinical excellence and quality of life, this group has built something worth joining.
Position Highlights
  • Anesthesiology coverage across two hospital campuses - Delray Medical Center (DMC) and West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) - plus an outpatient surgery center
  • Combined OR capacity of 21 rooms at DMC (including cardiac) and 6 ORs + 2 OB rooms at WBMC, with an additional OR coming online
  • Team of 7 attending physicians with a 1:4 physician-to-CRNA ratio
  • 5 call days per month (24-hour shifts - main and OB); post-call physicians are not contacted unless staffing is critically short
  • Rotating batting order system for OB call - structured and transparent
  • Weekend coverage handled by a dedicated weekend team; night float in place at Delray for overnight coverage
  • Academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University (SRNAs), and Nova Southeastern (CAAs)
  • Call schedule published 3-4 weeks in advance

About the Team
West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.
