Kraus Management is currently seeking experienced porters for Bronx residential buildings

Position summary: Clean and maintain buildings’ interior and exterior

Responsibilities

· Cleans and maintains lobby, stair halls, elevators, laundry rooms, community rooms etc.

· Maintains common area floors including, wash and wax hard surface flooring, cleaning tile grout, etc.

· Maintains common area walls, windows, and doors including, wash and clean, and washing windows

· Maintains common area lighting which involves cleaning debris from hallway light fixtures and changing light bulbs, as necessary

· Maintaining building cleaning supplies for assigned areas

· Responsible for compactor/trash receptacles transport to the disposal area.

· Responsible for cleaning grounds

· Responsible for removal of snow, leaves, trimming of shrubs and cutting of grass

Job Type

Qualifications

· 5 years or more experience working as a Janitor, Cleaner, or Porter

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals

· Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision

· Must be able to take direction well and perform tasks in allotted timeframe.
