POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor, Security supports & assists the Shift Manager, Security with the operations of a shift, so that a safe, secure and comfortable environment is maintained. The Supervisor, Security is responsible for ensuring that a high level of effective support is provided to all departments and a high level of customer service is provided to customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting the Shift Manager, Security to lead teams and to allocate responsibilities and to monitor the performance of colleagues
  • Ensure sufficient Security support is provided to key Departments such as Table Games and Slots Departments
  • Monitor customer service of colleagues and coach colleagues where necessary to enhance customer service quality
  • Plan and carry out workplace administration, complete weekly reports and functions associated with reports
  • Coordinate emergency situations if the Shift Manager, Security is not present
  • To coordinate routine inspections and maintenance of emergency equipment and undertake workplace fire prevention
  • Manage incidents in a discreet and confidential manner appropriate to the situation and to maintain a professional image
  • Monitor all security procedures under the direction of Shift Manager, Security. To monitor lost property and preserve crime scenes.
  • As required perform role of Shift Manager, Security
  • As required perform the functions of a Security officer
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years Casino Security experience as a Supervisor or Acting Supervisor role
  • Experience in Customer Service and or Security Officer duties
  • Demonstrated teamwork

Education

  • Verbal and written English; and Cantonese or Mandarin is essential
  • Knowledge of computer system applications Word, Excel
