Seasons Supermarkets is one of the largest kosher supermarket chains in the nation. At present, there are eight Seasons locations across the Tri-State area with plans to expand. Seasons offers its customers a full-service kosher shopping experience where everyone, including its highly dedicated associates, is treated like family.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Afternoon Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the store during peak afternoon and evening hours. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is proactive, and helps ensure a clean and welcoming environment for both customers and associates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness of the store, including aisles, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the shift.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
Monitor store conditions during peak hours and respond promptly to spills, hazards, or maintenance needs.
Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times.
Assist with setup and breakdown of store displays or events as needed.
Support departments with cleaning and maintenance requests to ensure smooth daily operations.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to management in a timely manner.
Uphold company standards by helping provide a clean, safe, and pleasant shopping environment.

Requirements:
Prior maintenance, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for customers and staff.
