Job description

A Little About Us
Oats Overnight is on a mission to build a generational CPG brand. Since 2016, our high-protein, drinkable oatmeal has reached over a million customers through direct-to-consumer, and we're now scaling with all major nationwide retail and club partners. Our goal: become a household brand by leveraging speed, storytelling, and strategy.
We are vertically integrated: we develop, manufacture, and fulfill everything in-house. This operational control allows us to engage customers directly into the R&D process, an initiative where we were first-to-market in CPG. It also makes our brand tangible and real: our factory, our team, and our product pipeline are all part of the narrative.
This is an exciting stage-we are emerging as a significant omni-channel brand and launching new products to capture significant market share across verticals. We want you to help us get there.
Every teammate here has equity because we're building something big, and everyone plays an important role. If you're excited about building a brand that does things differently, this is that opportunity.
What's The Job?
As Quality Manager, you will ensure the production of safe, high-quality products in alignment with internal expectations and external regulatory requirements. You'll work hands-on with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement across all quality systems, certifications, and safety protocols.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
What You'll Be Doing, Stop Scanning and Read This Part
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the site Food Safety Plan, food safety programs, and quality procedures.
  • Serve as site leader for Food Safety and chair the Food Safety Team.
  • Manage Hazard Analysis activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and improve existing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions.
  • Maintain site certifications, including Kosher and GFCO.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage CAPA, SCAR, and NCMR programs.
  • Oversee incoming inspections, in-process checks, and finished good testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
  • Review and approve manufacturing records and finished product releases.
  • Train staff on GMPs, food safety, and quality systems.
  • Manage customer complaints and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a food safety culture across the site.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address food safety risks throughout the production process.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You've Done And Who You Are
  • 6-8 years of experience in Quality in a GMP-regulated environment, including 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Food Science preferred.
  • Auditing experience (SQF, HACCP, CGMP).
  • HACCP certification and SQF Practitioner required.
  • Familiarity with GFSI, PCQI certification preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in G-Suite, ERP, and lab software.

Why You Might Like Working Here

Physical Demands
